Calling all Honda owners to pay attention to the following. Honda Malaysia has further extended their product update activity to another 58,140 units. If you are an owner of the models listed in the chart (click to enlarge) below Honda is encouraging you to head to a Honda authorised dealer nationwide.
The latest round of product update is also related to the driver airbag inflator. Honda mechanics will be replacing the inflator with a brand new unit as a proactive measure taken by the Company to ensure driver’s safety.
Notification letters will be sent out to all affected customers and owners are encouraged to send their vehicles to the nearest authorised Honda dealer for inspection. Once the parts are ready, mechanics will carry out replacement works and all costs and labour will be borne by Honda Malaysia.
Don’t worry, the latest product updates does not affect any of the current selling models although Honda Malaysia regrets the inconvenience caused to the affected owners.
Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. continues to urge owners of Honda vehicles affected by the driver airbag product update to get their vehicles checked and parts replaced at any authorized Honda dealers as soon as possible upon receipt of the notification letters. Jerrica Leong
